Hong Kong Cricket Association selects a Young Player of the Month every month based on performances in Junior or School Leagues or Youth International Tournaments.

  Sajid Khan, the upcoming fast bowler wins Crick-kid.com April 2001 Yound Player of the Month award for bowling and batting his School to win the Wellcome Primary Schools' Playground League Championships and being part of the U13 League Champion HKCC Team.
March 2001
  Zain Abbas win the March 2001 Crick-kid.com Young Player of the Month. The fourteen year old Delia Schoolboy scored 61 not out against a very strong South Island School in the Ted Wilson Trophy Semi Final and got his team to their first Schools Final. He also scoring regularly for LSWCC U19 team in the U19 league including 85 not out against Tornadoes.
February 2001
  Graeme Hawinkels is the Crick-kid.com Young Player of the Month for February 2001. He got this award for his amazing 135 runs against WIS in a Ted Wilson Trophy Match. Congratulations to Graeme.
January 2001
  The "Crick-kid.com" Junior Player of the Month for January 2001 is 18 year old Nazam Mohammed. He is chosen as the player of the month for his consistent batting for HKCA Development Academy: Mainlanders XI in the Saturday, for KCC Colts in the Sunday League and for Indus XI in the U19 League. Nazam wins himself an autographed cricket bat.
December 2000

Sakhawat Ali is the "Crick-kid.com" Junior Player of the Month for December 2000. His outstanding performance of 7 wickets for 21 runs for HK U15s against Singapore in the recent U15 South East Asian Championships and his 96 not out for Delia Memorial School against West Island School earned him an autographed cricket bat

Congratulations also to Imran Khan who won the U15 Player of the League Award

November 2000
  Courtney Kruger becomes the second HKCA "Crick-Kid.com" Junior Player of the Month. Courtney wins the award for his consistent batting for KGV in the schools' competition and for HKCC Typhoon 10s in the U15 league. The 12 year old Courtney will receive an autographed cricket bat.
October 2000

The first recipient of the HKCA "Crick-kid.com" Junior Player of the Month award is Yogesh Mahtani for his batting display in the Tim Davies Trophy (Island School boys vs. Mainland Schoolboys) held earlier in the month. Yogesh was chosen by Adam Hollioake (HK National Team Coach) and Lal Jayasinghe (HK National Coach Co-ordinator). Congratulations to Yogesh who will receive an autographed cricket bat.
