Rules
- The match must start by 8:30am
- 8-a-side, with substitutes allowed in case of injury.
- 14 overs per innings
- Max 4 overs per bowler. Hardball will be used.
- 1 Runs will be added to the total of batting side in case of a wide, the ball will have to be bowled again.
- In case of No ball runs 1 runs shall be added to the total plus runs scored off the bat, the ball will have to be bowled again.
- The team fielding first shall bowl 14 overs, or complete the over which is in progress at 9:25am if this arises first, unless its opponents are dismissed in fewer then 14 overs.
- The team batting second shall be limited to the same number of overs, unless the team batting first is all out in fewer then 14 overs, in which case the team batting second will have the opportunity to bat the complete 14 overs.
- The team bowling second must complete their overs by 10:25am and the team must leave the field by 10:30am. If the number of overs bowled are less then the number of overs bowled in the first innings then the result will be decided by net run rate.
- In rain affect matches or match delayed due to any reason, a match is said to be completed if each side has faced a minimum of 5 overs.
- The batting side will be responsible to keep score
- Scoresheets must be faxed to the newspapers and HKCA office by 6pm on the day of the match by winning sides.
- White clothing or uniformed colored clothing must be worn by players on the field
- A HKCA official umpire will officiate in all U19 League matches, where possible. The decision and interruption of the rules by the umpire will be final. If umpires are not available then the Club Representative of the batting side will be responsible for arranging umpires.
