Rules |
The
following are the specific playing rules and conditions for the
2002-03 HKCA Under-17 League.
See
also General Cricket Rules.

8-a-side, with substitutes allowed in case of injury, substitutes
cannot bat or bowl.
-
16 overs per innings. Hardball will be used in all matches
-
Maximum 4 overs per bowler.
-
Teams will bowl from one end only.
-
Teams must submit their squad name before the league start
-
1 run will be added to the total of batting side in case of wide.
The ball will have to be bowled again.
-
In case of a “No-ball” 1 runs shall be added to the
total plus runs scored of the bat. The ball will have to be bowled
again
-
Umpire will be provided by HKCA for all matches
-
Score sheets must be faxed, by the winning team representative
or to be given to the HKCA appointed umpires
-
White cricket clothing, must be worn by players on the field at
all time, colored clothing , black shoes, black jeans and any
other clothing is not permitted.

Team must bring their own equipment
-
Batsman are required to wear helmets while batting
-
Players must registered
with HKCA as Junior Members
