1.General
Except as specified in the playing Rules, the laws of Cricket 2003 will apply.

2.Fixture
The scheduled fixture and normal starting time will be printed on our HKCA crick-kid web site or circulated by HKCA office during the season.

3.Ground Weather and Light
The umpires appointed by HKCA shall be sole judges of the fitness of the ground, weather and light for play.

4.Disputes
The umpires appointed by HKCA shall determine all disputes during a match; if they disagree the existing state of affairs shall continue. Ruling given by JLC on any disputes brought before them shall be final.

5.Registrations and Eligibility
Prior to the start of the league season, each team is require to register a minimum of 11 players and pay the requisite individual membership and team fees. The names and address of the player to be registered must be submitted at this time. In sense of not paying team registration fees, consideration will be given to removing the team from League.? Any matches played prior to payment of the membership fee may be declared null and avoid. The JLC may award full points to the non-offending team. Playing a non-registered player may result in deduction of league points. The JLC shall be the final authority.

6.Transfer of players
All players shall not, without the prior permission of the JLC, play for more then one team in the same competition. Application for transfer must be submitted in writing to the chairman of the JLC at least 72 hours before the transfer is required to take effect. Player can’t be transfer after playing two matches with current team. Please send your request to dar@crick-kid.com.

7.Match Balls
Match balls will be provided by HKCA.

8.Match result cards
A match result card for each match shall be submitted to HKCA office by the winning team, the result card can be send by Fax: 25778486.

9. Points System

U 9 & U11
Walkover: 25 points
Win; 10 points +batting & bowling points
Loss: Batting & Bowling points only
Tie: 8 points + batting & bowling points
No Result:15 point each.
Batting & Bowling points:
Batting: Every 10 runs scored one (1) point Maximum 8 points, i.e. one batting point for reaching each 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 runs,
Bowling: One (1) point for each wicket, & Maximum 7 points

U13, U15, U17, U19
Walkover: 20 points
Win;10 points +batting & bowling points
Loss: Batting & Bowling points only
Tie: 5 points + batting & bowling points
No Result:10 point each.

Batting & Bowling points:

Batting: One (1) batting point for reaching each 70, 90, 120, 140, 160 maximum 5 points (if batting Second, 5 bonds points based on a rate of 4.50 per over or higher, 4 bonus points based on rate of 4.00 per over or better, 3 bonus points based on a rate 3.40 per over, 2 bonus points based on rate 2.50 per over, 1 bonus points based on 2.00 per over. 0 points if they pass the total slower than this.
Bowling: One (1) point for 2,4,6,8 and 10 wickets & Maximum 5 points

10.Uniform
White clothing and sports shoes must be worn by players on the field, umpires will ask player to leave the field if he is wearing unusual cloths.

11. Equipment
Teams must bring their own equipments. Helmets are compulsory to wear at all age group cricket. Wooden bats & Protectors are compulsory to use at U11 League.

12.Age Eligibility
U- 9 All those born on or after 1st January 1998
U-11 All those born on or after 1st January 1996
U-13 All those born on or after 1st January 1994
U-15 All those born on or after 1st January 1992
U-17 All those born on or after 1st January 1991 (to be played in 2008)
U-19 All those born on or after 1st January 1989 (to be played in 2008)

11:10am – 1:10pm (2nd Innings)

Afternoon Matches for U13, U15
1pm – 3pm (First Innings)
3pm-3:10pm (Innings Break)
3:10pm – 5:10pm (2nd Innings)

U17 & U19
10am-11am - 17overs - First Session
11am-11:10am- Water break
11:10-12:10pm - 34overs- Second Session
12:10-12:20pm- Water break
12:20-1:20pm-50overs- Third Session

1:20-2:00pm- Lunch break

2pm-3pm-17overs- First Session, Second Innings
3pm-3:10pm- Water break
3:10pm-4:10pm- 34overs-Second Session , Second Innings
