Format:
1. 8-a-side matches with 8 overs per side. 1 over with 6 balls only.
2. There will be 4 pairs of batsman and each pair will bat for 2 overs.
3. Each team can have 2 reserved players for interchange in the field under the condition of injuries of the players. Reserved players cannot bowl or bat and can only field.
4. If the team has less than 8 players,
Fielding : The teacher has to select one or two of the current players to bowl the rest of the overs to ensure that 8 overs are bowled.
Batting (for 7 players): The teacher has to select one of the current players as the runner. He or she can only be the runner in the seventh and eighth overs. This runner cannot bat.
Batting (for 6 players): The teacher has to select two of the current players as the runners. The 1st runner is for the fifth and sixth overs while another runner is for the seventh and eighth overs. Both cannot bat.
5. Team with less than 6 players will not be allowed to play this match. And walk over will be awarded to positing team with FULL points.
Rules:
1. Pairs Cricket with over arm bowling.
2. Out: 5 runs deducted to batting side and the batsman has to change position.
a) Bowled-out
b) Caught-out
c) Run-out
d) Handled the ball
e) Hit the ball twice
f) Hit wicket
g) Stumped-out
3. No ball: 3 runs for batting side if the batsman hit the no ball, total runs will be counted.
a) Arm should be straight when bowlers bowl. Otherwise, no ball will be called.
b) If the ball bounces more than twice during bowling, no ball will be called.
c) The front foot of the bowler is out of the front white line (poping crease).
d) The short pitch ball is bowled over the shoulder of the batsman in his batting stance.
e) Ball is bowled full toss over the waist level of the batsman.
f) The batsman being caught out or bowled of a no ball, he/she is not out.
g) Run out of a no ball, batsman will be ruled out, 5 runs will be deducted, and batsmen need to change ends.
4. Wide ball: If the ball is out of reach of batsman will be called wide ball by Umpire.
5. Dead ball: Due to the objective situation that the bowler cannot finish his/her bowling, he/she has to bowl again.
6. Bye: If the wicketkeeper cannot catch the ball, batsman can run for score.
7. All fielders have to bowl 6 balls in every over. No extra ball has to be bowled for no ball or wide ball except in the last over of both innings, the last bowl has to be a legal ball.
8. If the batsman runs but his bat or any part of his body has not crossed the crease, the short run will not be counted.
9. Fielding team can bowl from one end only, and the bowling direction will be decided by the HKCA.
10. If the ball hits any body part of the batsman but not the bat, batsman cannot run for score.
11. Teams have to provide their own plastic bats and stumps.
12. Batsman cannot cross the extended line of the middle stump.
13. If players have any misbehavior against sportsmanship or fair game, HKCA umpire can give warning to the players or team. They may be finally disqualified.
Scoring System:
1. Each team has 100 basic score.
2. Wide ball: 3 runs
3. No ball: 3 runs
4. A ball is hit along the ground through the boundary: 4 runs
5. A ball is hit over the boundary: 6 runs
6. A batsman out: batsman can continue to bat and 5 runs will be deducted from the batting side.
League Point System:
1. Winner: 3 points
2. Loss: 1 point
3. Tie match: 2 points
4. If team withdraws or absent, no point will be awarded to them and the opponent team will get 3 points.
5. If match is washed out by bad weather, the match will be treated as tie and both teams will get 2 points.
6. In the event of equal league points in the same pool, team with higher average runs of all matches will come first;
If the situation still exists, team with fewer batsmen out will come first;
If the situation still exists, team with more 6s will come first;
If the situation still exists, team with more 4s will come first.
Eligibility:
1. Players are not allowed to change their team during the tournament. They should play all matched under the team they are registered. If they violate this rule, they will be disqualified.
2. All players are required to provide identification document and report to the umpire before matches.
3. The date of birth should be on 1 January 19956or after.
Application:
1. Please fill in the entry form and fax to HKCA at 2577 8486, on or before 14th November 2008.
2. Players entry form and copy of identification documents should be submitted to HKCA on or before 21st November 2008.
3. An application fee of HK$100 will be charged per a team. Please make a cheque payable to "Hong Kong Cricket Association" and submit it along with the Players Entry Form on or before 21st November 2008.
Fixtures:
1st Round Matches: Teams are divided into 4 pools by draw, single round robin will be played in each pool,
during January (To be confirmed).
Cup: The 1st & 2nd teams with highest league points in each pool will be qualified to play in the Cup matches, please refer to the Cup Knockout Fixtures for further details.
Plate: The 3rd & 4th teams with highest league points in each pool will be qualified to play in the Plate matches, please refer to the Plate Knockout Fixtures for further details..
Bowl: The rest of the teams will be qualified to play in the Bowl matches, please refer to the Bowl Knockout Fixtures for further details.
Knockout Matches: Matches will be played at Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground during weekdays (Wednesday or Friday) in April (To be confirmed).
Semi-Final & Final Matches: All Semi-Final & Final will be held on one weekend in April (To be confirmed) at Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground.
Note: Each match lasts around 1 hour.
Umpire:
1. All matches should have HKCA representatives or umpires.
2. If the team is late over 15 minutes, they may be disqualified.
3. The umpires appointed by HKCA shall determine all disputes during a match.
League Board Committee:
1. Any written appeal should be made to our League Appealing Board Committee within one week after the match.
2. HKCA has the final decision right.
Disclaimer of Liability:
The organizing authority accepts no liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the matches.
Inclement Weather:
When a Thunderstorm Warning, or Amber/Red/Black Rainstorm Warning, or Typhoon signal number 3 or above is hoisted at 08:00am, matches will be cancelled without advance notice.
When a Thunderstorm Warning, or Amber/Red/Black Rainstorm Warning, or Typhoon signal number 3 or above is hoisted during the match, matches will be suspended or cancelled.
If the Semi-final & Final Match is cancelled by adverse conditions of weather, ground, light or other good cause beyond control, the Semi-final & Final Match will be postponed 1 week after; if postponed match is also washed out, those matches will be cancelled for the year. The Champions of the Primary Schools Playground League will be determined by the highest average runs in all league matches. In the event of equal average runs, League Point System no.6 shall apply.
Should there be any inconsistency between the English and the Chinese versions of the
information here, the Chinese version shall prevail.
比賽規則
賽制
1. 八個人為一隊,每隊有八個回合擊球,每回合共六球,擊球的那一隊為攻方,投球的那一隊為守方。
2. 攻方派出四對擊球手,每對有兩個回合擊球。
3. 每隊有最多兩位後備球員,以代替在比賽中受傷的球員,但後備球員不能投球或擊球,餘下需投球或擊球的回合由另一至兩位出場球員負責。
4. 當球隊隊員不足八人作賽的情況下: 防守時:除出場所有球員需投球外,餘下需投球的回合由另一位(七人作賽)或兩位(六人作賽)出場球員投出,而這位球員需要由該隊的負責老師於賽前決定。
進攻時(七人作賽):先由該隊的負責老師於賽前決定一位出場球員作為跑手(Runner),只可在第七和第八回合協助第七位擊球手跑分,不可擊球。
進攻時(六人作賽):先由該隊的負責老師於賽前決定兩位出場球員作為跑手(Runner),其中一位跑手只可協助第五位擊球手在第五和六回合跑分,不可擊球。另一位只可協助第六位擊球手在第七和八回合跑分,不可擊球。
5. 球隊隊員少於六人,不能作賽,當棄權論,對方球隊也會被得滿分。
球賽規例
1. 防守球員必須用上手投球。
2. 出局(out):攻方會被扣五分,擊球手需對調位置。
a. 投球手投出好球,繼而投中三柱門,擊球手被投出局 。(Bowled-out)
b. 擊球手擊中好球,但球在未觸及地面時被防守球員接住,擊球手被接出局。(Caught-out)
c. 擊球手對跑取分時,未回到安全區,三柱門被防守球員擲中,?球手取分出局 。(Run-out)
d. 擊球手蓄意用手觸好球,擊球手觸球出局。 (Handled the ball)
e. 擊球手將同一好球擊出兩次,擊球手重擊出局 。(Hit the ball twice)
f. 擊球手在迎接投出的好球時,身體或球板擊中三柱門,擊球手擊門出局。 (Hit wicket)
g. 擊球手在迎接投出的好球而離開安全區,防守方的捕手接球並從後方擲中三柱門 。(Stumped out)
3. 壞球(no ball):攻方可得三分,如擊球手擊中壞球,對跑分數亦計算在內。
a. 投球時手肘屈曲。
b. 當投出的球彈地多於兩次時。
c. 投球手前腳在三柱門前白線外投球。
d. 投出的彈地球高過擊球手的肩膀。
e. 投出的球(未彈地)高過擊球手的腰部。
f. 壞球擊出後在空中被接或擊中三柱門,擊球手不用出局,但擊球手對跑所取的分數無效。
g. 擊球手擊出壞球,對跑取分時未回到安全區,三柱門被防守球員投中,擊球手出局,攻方被扣五分,擊球手需對調位置。
續球賽規例
4. 界外球(wide ball)︰投球手投出安全區以外。
5. 死球(deadball):因客觀因素而導致投球手不能投球,需再次投球。
6. 漏接(bye):捕手漏接投球,擊球手可以對跑取分。
7. 除最後一位防守球員外,所有防守球員必須在一個回合投出六球,無論壞球或界外球,都不用再次投球。但每場賽事的最後一位防守球員,必須在最後回合的最後一擲投出好球,否則需再次投球,直至此球為好球。
8. 擊球手對跑取分時如未接觸安全區的地面(身體任何一部份包括球板),未接觸安全區所取得的分數,不能計算在內。
9. 大會將決定相同及單一的投球方向。
10. 投球手投出的球接觸到擊球手任何身體部份,但未有接觸到球板,擊球手不可跑分。
11. 只可用膠木球板作賽,球員需自備球板及三柱門。
12. 擊球手的腳不可越過三柱門中央門柱的延伸直線。
13. 在比賽期間,球員有任何違反體育精神或公平競賽之行為,香港木球總會裁判會先向違規的隊員或隊伍作出警告,嚴重者有可能被取消參賽資格。
比賽計分制度
1. 每隊有100分作為底分。
2. 如守方投出界外球攻方可得三分。
3. 如守方投出壞球攻方可得三分。
4. 球被?出後觸及界內場地而超越邊界,不論?球手對跑多少次,可得四分。
5. 球被直接擊出邊界,而未有觸及界內場地,可得六分。
6. 擊球手被遂出局時,可繼續作賽,但會被扣五分。
聯賽計分方式
1. 比賽中勝方隊伍,可得聯賽三分。
2. 比賽中負方隊伍,可得聯賽一分。
3. 比賽中兩隊分數相同時,雙方各得兩分。
4. 缺席或棄權隊不獲分數,另一隊則當勝方計,取得三分。
5. 如因天氣影響賽事時,比賽當打和論,相方可同時得兩分。
6. 如果有兩隊或以上同分,每區首名出線權,將以各隊各場比賽的總平均分來決定;
如仍然同分,便以在各場中最少擊球手出局來定出線;
如仍然同分,便以在各場比賽中取得最多六分為出線隊伍;
如仍然同分,便以在各場比賽中取得最多四分為出線隊伍。
參賽資格
1. 球員只可代表其登記之所屬球隊作賽,違規隊伍將會被取消參賽資格。
2. 所有參賽球員必須帶同身份証明文件於比賽前向裁判登記。
3. 聯賽年齡限制:所有球員必須在1996年1月1日或之後出生。
報名辦法
1. 請填妥參賽表格,於14/11/2008或之前傳真至2577 8486。
2. 請填妥球員參賽表格及身份證明文件影印,連同報名費的支票(抬頭請寫「Hong Kong Cricket Association」)本於21/11/2008前遞交香港板球總會。
3. 每隊報名費為港幣100元正。
賽程安排
初賽 :參加學校隊伍將抽籤分為四組,然後安排各組別進行單循環比賽,約於一月份舉
行。
盃賽 :每組最高分的兩隊將晉級盃淘汰賽,詳情請參閱盃淘汰賽賽程表。
碟賽 :每組第三及四高分的兩隊將晉級碟淘汰賽,詳情請參閱碟淘汰賽賽程表。
碗賽 :每組其餘的隊伍將晉級碗淘汰賽,詳情請參閱碗淘汰賽賽程表。
淘汰賽:將安排約於四月份其中一個星期三或五假土瓜灣天光道球場舉行。
冠亞季軍賽事:將安排約於四月份其中一個星期日假土瓜灣天光道球場舉行。
註:每場比賽時間大約為一小時。
裁判
1. 每場賽事必須有香港板球總會的代表或裁判。
2. 如球隊比球賽時間遲到15分鐘或以上,香港木球總會裁判有權宣佈另一方勝出。
3. 如比賽時有任何糾紛,將由總裁判作最後決定。
賽委會
1. 如對賽事有任何爭議,需於賽事結束後一星期內以書面形式向本會小學聯賽上訴委員會報告。
2. 香港板球總會保留最終決定權。
責任
球員如因比賽引致受傷或任何損失,本會、資助機構及贊助商恕不負責。
惡劣天氣之安排
如於比賽當日早上8:00天文台仍然懸掛雷暴警告 / 黃雨 / 紅雨 / 黑雨 / 三號或以上颱風訊號的惡劣天氣訊號,比賽將會取消而不作另行通知。
如於比賽進行期間天文台懸掛雷暴警告 / 黃雨 / 紅雨 / 黑雨 / 三號或以上颱風訊號的惡劣天氣訊號,比賽將立即停止或腰斬。
總決賽賽事如因天氣或場地影響而未能在原定日期完成,賽事將延至一星期後舉行。如賽事延期後再受天氣或場地影響而未能完成,總決賽賽事將被取消;小學板球聯賽的總成績將以所有聯賽總平均分計算,以取得最高分之隊伍為冠軍,如此類推。
